O2 Match connects people who need a car part with dealers who have one. The whole product is built around a single promise: your phone number is not visible to dealers until you accept one of their prices. This page explains what we hold and why.
What we collect
When you create an account:
- Your phone number — this is how you sign in. There is no password.
- Your name (or business name, if you are a dealer).
- Your city and country.
- Whether you are a buyer or a dealer.
- Your app language, and a notification token for the device if you allow notifications.
When you post a request or send a quote:
- The car — make, model, year, and engine size if you give it.
- The parts you need, any notes, and any photos you attach.
- For dealers: the price, condition, and delivery terms you quote.
- Ratings you and the other side give each other after a deal.
We do not collect your location, your contacts, your browsing, or anything for advertising. There are no third-party trackers or advertising SDKs in the app.
Who can see your phone number
Dealers browsing requests see the car, the part, the city and any photos. They do not see your name or your number.
When you accept a dealer’s price, that one dealer gets your name and number so they can reach you, and you get theirs. Dealers whose prices you did not accept never receive them. This is enforced on our servers, not just hidden in the app.
Photos and AI
Photos you attach are stored on Google Firebase Storage and shown to dealers who can see the request.
O2 Match uses AI for a few narrow jobs: recognising a part in a photo, suggesting a tyre size for your car, estimating a fair market price, and screening text for abuse. To do this, the text or image concerned is sent to our AI provider, OpenRouter. Your name, phone number and account are never sent with it.
Who processes your data
- Google Firebase — sign-in, database, photo storage and notifications. Firebase privacy
- Apple — delivering push notifications to your device.
- OpenRouter — the AI features described above.
Data is stored on Google servers in the United States. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone not listed here.
How long we keep it
Requests, quotes and deals are kept while your account exists, because both sides rely on that record — a dealer’s win rate and a buyer’s history are built from it. Delete your account and we delete your profile, your phone number, and your photos.
Deleting your account
In the app: Profile → Delete account. Or email us at amer@soulatics.com from the number you signed up with and we will do it for you. Deletion is permanent and takes effect within 30 days.
Children
O2 Match is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly hold data about children.
